LA Pillow Fight Day: How Social Media Affects YOUR Community
So how does social media affect you? and your community? This is a very important read because I will expose how social media affects the community of Los Angeles. Social media is Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Myspace, and virtually every single online social communications portal and experience.
Today, I got a message from Anthony through Google Talk with a link to http://pillowfightlosangeles.com. I went to the website and it did not communicate any sense of authority or authenticity to me, so I did not know whether it was going to be lame with virtually zero people. BUT I saw a Facebook link on the website, and I clicked it to the Facebook event and I saw THOUSANDS of people RSVPed for the Los Angeles Pillow Fight Day. That in itself signified legitimacy, authenticity, authority, and most of all what looks like a fun, exciting, eventful time. So I went to this event SOLELY because of FACEBOOK.
This is just another 1 of 55 million success stories due to social media. Let the next success story be you, your business, your social gatherings or events.
